I'm a single parent of a 3yr old lil girl. I've never been married, but in the 4yrs I've been single, it always seems like no matter the person I've been dating, they always get scared when they meet my daughter. They suddenly get very uncomfortable and then I never hear from them again.
I hate it! I'm wondering if there are any "REAL" men out there who have no issues w/dating a woman who has a child or children, cause

I go out and meet girls and we hit it off and then I mention the fact that I have twins and its like the cartoons when the roadrunner takes off and the coyote is standing there holding the bomb in his hands. Im not suggesting that its harder or easier for either one of us, but most people men or women cant handle the amount of responsibilty that they assume comes with dating a single parent. I just love the people that persue you, spend time with you and your kid, and then say things like....'I don't really like kids'....oh yours is fine, I just don't want any of my own....whassup with that?

There are men out there, just takes time to find them, im sure in time you will meet some one that has there own kids and you having your own will only make the relationship easier to meld together :) chin up and just keep looking :)
