I wake up in the morning feeling this emptiness, not knowing how I will get through this day. I love my daughter very much, but it is also very difficult to always maintain a happy profile. I want to feel in love again with another woman. There is so much love I want to express and share. I want to be able to hold another woman's hand in mine, feel her heart beat against mine, cuddle up to her at night, and enjoy a wonderful life. I am a very caring and affectionate man and would love to be able to share that with a wonderful woman.

I knew there were words to describe this emptiness, i just didn't think it to be loneliness. I have a great daughter that i shower my love to, but there is still a hole in me i can't seem to fill. Finding someone to be with fully, can help fill in that space.

I know that loneliness can be one of the most painful things to suffer through...like it's own grieving process. It is SO wonderful that you are open to finding real love in your life without jading it up with the distrust so many of us develop over time! Please don't lose that! Just hang in there and use this time to treasure yourself, your child, friends and family. Love will find you. In the meantime, make your "self" an adventure...as a psych major, you may be potentially farther along on that than most! And in those weaker moments we all have, remember you are not alone! I'm in the box with you, along with a few thousand other single parents on this site. Pain is always eased when shared, so don't hesitate to share it with those of us who understand (better than we wish we did).
